My work is about the private and the universal at the same time.
Not infrequently, it is about human flaws and shortcomings in a world that is increasingly characterized by efficiency and measurability.
Garments, domestic ware and everyday accessories are carefully depicted in ceramics, as a description of my own relationship with the immediate surroundings. The objects are deeply personal but still for the viewer easy to recognize and make an own interpretation of.
I´d like to invite the viewer to share an impression of the outside world in merciless and constant change, with the help of a low-key humor I am aiming to create feelings of confidence, curiosity and wonder, recognition and security - impressions that might lead to continued realization that no one is alone, everything is interconnected.
